Tamron 35mm-210mm Macro Question

Hi guys,

I just got this big chunky lens but unsure how to use the macro function. I'll upload few pictures of the lens later.

Do I move closer towards the subject or do I use the zoom to macro the subject

This lens has no special "mode" - it's, what Tamron called it, a CF lens, meaning it continuously focuses down to the closest focus setting.
For the "macro"-est macro this lens can give, pull it all the way to the camera (210mm focal length), and turn all the way clockwise.
And it's not 35-210mm, by the way - it's 80-210.

Then you can partially ignore what I just said
The lens you have is probably this one. On that site, it says the lens has macro at 35mm - so you can probably push something or twist something for the lens to "enter" that mode at 35mm (shortest focal length).
Since I never used that lens, I have no idea how it works Some pictures may help - if you haven't figured that out yet.
