Screw Mount lenses on my PZ-10

On my *istD, if I'm using Takumar m42 lenses, I need to adjust my exposure compensation. I'm wondering if I use these lenses on my film PZ-10, if I will have the same results, or is this more a factor of my camera being digital?

My PZ20 exposes pretty much perfectly with screwmount lenses.
For that mater my old K100D did much better, when I shorted out the electrical contacts. Although I still wasn't all that impressed with it

With the PZ20, after shorting the contacts with tinfoil I now have a focus conformation beep, and light when focusing. Which at least helps me to focus. I was having problems with nice sharp landscapes otherwise.
