opening base cover of Pentax K2

if we open the base cover of Pentax K2 while it has a film in it.. will it expose the film into the light?

Just removing the bottom plate won't.

oke thanks.. i notice all the bolt which hold the bottom plate is corroded, i want to replace it.

Be careful taking the screws out. If they are corroded, they could snap off.

..thanks. already did it. soaked all screw in a cup of rust prevented solution.. to dissolve all the oxidation deposits..its clean now..
