Tamron 28-75/2.8 on film?

Hi all,

Has anyone tried Tamron 28-75/2.8 on film? If yes, what are your thoughts and how does it compare to FA28-70/4 which has got an excellent reputation when used on film.

I am a very pleased owner of the lens you referred. It is a wonderful awarded lens. You can compare it with Pentax 28-70/f2.8. This means that must be better than pentax 28-70/f4 and it is compatible with digital format, too, without any problem.
After this impression of this lens, I also got the Tamron 17-35/f2.8-4
