I have no doubt that he'd send the package out, but 2 weeks for shipping in the US is just way too long...
Try living in Canada.....it takes at least 3 or 4 weeks to get here. It's worse to try to ship something out!

well you have to remember that it is the busiest time of year for the US post office so that may be a cause for a little bit of a delay if it was sent via the slowest means that may be a cause for the delay in getting it.
Yeah, that's what I figured too. But 2 weeks for priority mail shipping (that's what I chose and paid for) is still abit long, and the package still hasn't reached my US address yet

Thanks Chris. To be honest, I did have a couple of not-so-happy trade experiences here at the forum in the past a couple of weeks. Maybe that affected my mood too ...

Happy Festival to you and all the other forum friends too

Frank, I had a similarly strange experience lately -- I shipped a camera to Eric (in TN) from Georgia (A mere 5 or so hour drive) via priority mail a couple of months ago and it took around 2-weeks to arrive. I don't know what happened between here & there, but perhaps the Tennessee postal system has switched to pack mules or something.

Cheers all.

FlGulfer and I had a Priority package take 6 days from his house (2 hr drive) to get to me. However, the return trip was 2 days. We figured they had used the government mules on the first trip.

Thanks for the info. But the package still hasn't showed up yet after over 3 weeks I don't know what happened there, but it's been way too long ...

Lost in the mail

Sent a Super Program to Frank and it got lost. I have refunded the total amount even shipping. I appologize for any inconvience I've caused him. Tracking numbers "Confirmations" are almost a dollar more. With my prices so cost to my profit line I tend not to put them on. I may have to reconsider this. I depend on you guys for work and don't want to upset anyone.
Thanks,
Eric

Thanks Eric for the refund, although it's not what I expected, but still, thanks for your fast service and followup.

I'll let you know if by any chance the package shows up.

I can't speak for anyone else, but a dollar more in your posted CLA cost or posted FS cost for a camera or lens, and tracking number on your FREE shipping wouldn't bother me any.

I am with you there. A few $ more for some peace of mind, is well worth it for me. Specially if you send a rare lens or similar. And it is not like Eric's price are high and it would break the camel's back

Cheers,

Luc

Seconded. It would be a small premium to pay for the added peace of mind
