conspirisy- why wasnt I told

A couple of months ago I picked up an me super with problems,The film advance stuck and no meter.I used the highly recommended Wheatfield method, hold the camera by the lens and bash it into your palm.I could get a few advances but it would freeze up.New batteries didnt get the meter going so I gave up and put it in the dead camera drawer.

Today I got it out to check out a new lens and every thing is working.film advances, shutter fires and the meter works and is accurate compared to my digital camera meter.

Why wasnt I told of this method?
If it not a closely guarded underground Pentax Secret Society method, aimed towards world domination,I claim it.
Like the Wheatfield method I give it a name,
The Ranger Method(patent pending)

The problem with the Ranger Method is this: the elves make the problem go to a random other camera, sitting in the drawer minding its own business, working fine when it went in, but balky and refusing to advance etc etc when coming out.

I've had this happen a few times, now I know who to blame

I want to find the drawer that ate my Agfa loupe. Twenty years, I cart that thing around and when I need it...

The only problem with that reasoning is that we think you only have one outfit and wear it day in and day out.
Just like Bart Simpson

Well, now it's obvious. Just send all your dead electronics to Australia, let them sit in that drawer, and they will all work again
