Back-up Camera

I am going to a family event this summer, part wedding , reunion, my first child meets the family this coming summer. I will bring my k-x, likely with a 70mm on it. For a back-up/second view of the week I was hoping to shoot some vintage B&W shoots. I was hoping for that grainy, back stage "rolling stone" look. I have a k1000 & MX which I have not used in years. I was thinking either a M-50/1.4 or M-28/2.8 for a lens. There is to be a mix on indoor, sporting, and out door events.

I am also hoping to try to over exposing x800 colour film one or two stops for a pastel, dreamy out door setting.

I have 4 months to burn through some rolls. I don't have time, nor facilities to develop the film myself, but I am hoping I can drop it off at the local camera shop.

Thanks

PS I am going for this kind of feel: Fiona Garden

For anything indoor I'd take the 50mm f1.4 over a 22mm f2.8. Better yet, if you can why not get them both.
Personally I only shoot screwmount lenses on my film camera, keeping the costs even lower.
