Are Date Backs Fg, Fi and Fj identical?

Are the date backs Fg (for ZX-10/MZ-10, MZ-5/ZX-5, MZ-3, ZX-5n, MZ-7/ZX-7), Fi (for ZX-50/MZ-50) and Fj (forZX-M/MZ-M) actually the same?

Images of the back of these bodies might be helpful.

You could just search on Ebay or wherever until you find views of the various camera backs. (Data or not) You'll probably see obvious differences: as far as I know, it's not been Pentax's custom to change the name of the exact same accessory.

If you haven't been there yet (you probably have) here's a link to everything you ever wanted to know about Bentax Data Backs.

B. Dimitrov K-Mount Page - Data Backs

To answer your question, review the dimensions for each body the respective back is made for. I'd bet the bodies differ in some dimension by a millimeter or two - just enough to keep the backs from transferring.

For instance:

MZ-3 (Fi) = 135 x 90.5 x 61.5 mm
MZ-50 (Fi) = 135 x 90.5 x 62.5 mm
MZ-M (Fj) = 135 x 90.5 x 55 mm

monochrome, thanks for the link. I now see the difference in the Data backs for my Zx/MZ cameras and the SF line of cameras.
