Prizes ranged from an all expenses paid trip + 1200 rolls of film for first place to 20 rolls of film for honorable mention. Steve - Congratulation! Excellent DOF and colors. I'm sure we will see a lot more of your Ektar images in the rest of this year!

Kudos from me as well. The free Ektar is the gift that keeps on giving; you get 20 rolls of film gratis and we get to look at your photos when you post them here. Good deal all the way 'round.

Best,
Kevin

Thanks for the well-wishes! The 20 rolls of film will come in handy. I will definitely post the results here.

Congrats on getting honourable mention and the 20 rolls of Ektar! I've got eleven in my fridge calling out to be shot, but I've been holding out until spring and having a reliable way to scan such beautiful film. I've had shots scanned at 16 megapixel resolution at our lab, before our equipment was changed out, and even at that resolution, the limitation was obviously the scanner if you looked real close. Incredible stuff!

Congratulations, stevebrot!
That is a nice picture of a group of flowers which receive honorable mention!
With that many rolls of film, I am sure you will be busy shooting for more stunning pictures.
Thanks for sharing.

Cheers.

Congrats! Do you get a choice of 120 or 135 for those free rolls?

Congratulation.
So that makes one free roll by flower in the shot

Cheers,

Congratulations! That's really exciting. I remember that shot from some of the first Ektar threads here, and it really shows off the potential of this film.

I was given the choice of 120 or 135. I asked for 5-120 and 15-135. Let's see if they will give a mix. (Fat chance that they will break a brick, but no harm in asking.)
