mine does ;-) but in the spotmatics case it's actually called a cold shoe. you still find them on range finders these days.

Keyser -- you need "booty music" playing in the background for that photo.

Beauty -- which Spotty is it?

I think it's a beauty shot of a Spotmatic II.

spotmatics without a hotshoe are sexier. I leave the cold shoe accessory off of my SV for that very reason.

Lighting is everything! And that picture shows off the sensual curve of the advance arm, which unfortunately got changed for the K series and later.

This is indeed the fantastic SPII.

I guess it would look better without the 'cold shoe', it's not like I use flash on film cameras anyway!

hot shoe. the SPII introduced the built in hot shoe with flash contact. the 'cold shoe' refers to pre-spII bodies that use an accessory clip-on shoe, for which you still had to use the x or fp sync through a sync cord

Right you are... I popped a flash on the body and it fires from the hotshoe. You've gotta love modern technology!

I own one of the earlier spotmatics which has a cold shoe,I usually leave it off the camera, it would scrape on my eyebrow piercing..
