How fast is K-x in terms of AF speed?

Are there any tests on this topic? It looks like K7 is really decent. Thanks.

This may help you with some solid numbers: Pentax K-x Performance, Timings, and Image Quality

as to my friend's (k7 user) opinion only k7 has remarcable progress in af speed as it has next generation (8+) of af. k-x has the same af (8) as previous models.

Not sure about the K-x/K-7, which are said to be similar to the K-m. My impression is that my K-m is faster and more certain than the snail speed Ds, but still a little behind the Z-1p in pure torque and speed. None of them match my 40D with USM for moving target, not even close.

From my own experience, Kx focuses slightly faster than the K7 w/ FA31 mounted on both cameras under room light. Kx is more decisive than K7 w/ FA31. I didn't get chance to test other lens under other light condition though.

AF in the K-x is perceptibly faster than my K200D using the same lenses. Faster and more 'confident' too, especially in lower light.
