I find it interesting that more readers own Canon printers than Epson printers although not by much. Also, 98% of those who took part were men (of course). I also didn't know that D3S can shoot at a ISO of 102400. This camera can detect light where there is none......

Thanks for posting.

Its also interesting that Sigma and Tamron came out on top for lenses. I think its an aknowledgement that our camera experience would be poorer without the eifforts of these companies.

Most likely it's because the Tamron and Sigma lenses are available for every brand while Canon lenses can only be attached to a Canon SLR, Nikon lenses to a Nikon SLR etc... So surely many Nikon, Canon, Pentax, Sony and even Olympus users voted for Sigma, but it's unlikely that a Canon user voted for the Nikon lens.

Thanks for the info.
I think with the colours of the K-x, Pentax has reached another segment of people, than ordinary SLR buyers. And it has created more attention about the Pentax brand as well.

Wow, the K7 comes in as the second DSLR with around 30 % of the votes. And Kx is third DSLR. Had they voted by brand, Pentax might even have toppled Canon !

And I see that the Kx review at DPr is the most read in the recent period.
Things are looking up for Pentax. The Kx came through way more impressively than I expected

ISO 102,400 is ISO 12,800 +3EV or ISO 100 +10EV. With some cameras this has become feasible, like D3x, D3s, D700 or K-x.
