K-7 European prices dropping · 12:21 AM

After the K-7 price in the US started dropping, it remained on the higher level in Europe. Finally now it seems to be dropping seriously according to the German price search engine I often use. How many days was it now to Photokina - about 50?

BTW, what happens usually to Pentax DSLR prices after the replacement or upgraded product is announced?

Some prices stay high, others plummet. IIRC the k20D stayed rather expensive for ages. I only bought mine based on a cashback offer that coincided with the best euro-pound conversion rates in living memory.
