I hope, that I'm no breaking a rule of this forum when I point your attention to an almost minty Pentax SMC-K 4.5 / 500mm which is for sale on ebay. Probably someone here is looking for this rare lens.

That's pretty expensive- got mine for $399 like-new a couple years ago.

Moved to price watch.

Yeah and no case either, that would be a must for a lens that size.

I had the screw-mount Tak version and this doesn't seem grossly over-priced to me but I'll agree that the absence of a case is an issue to be considered. .
