BH: 18-55WR kit 1749.95, body only 1599.95
Amazon: 18-55 kit 1599.95, body only 1599.95 *this is strange.

Adorama: 18-55 kit 1749.95, Body only 1599.95

I will update when the price changes. Please help if you see the price changes.

Buy.com has the K-5 body today for $1050 through reseller Prodigital2000. Don't know anything about them though.

Interesting finding Jake,

I have purchased from ProDigital but thru Ebay, and IIRC they are located in Canada and the warranty situation gets a bit complicated...

BUT, if I buy thru Buy.com, would that change anything in regards to the warranty? If this price is for the K-5 with USA warranty I guess then it is a good deal...

Yes, I didn't realize they were in Canada. How would a buyer know that? I would think that it would come with a US Warranty, but I don't know.

If you buy thru Ebay, it says it comes from Canada and they have this 3-year Warranty, which is not honored by Pentax but a third party company.

Not sure how it works if you bought it thru buy.com though....

For USA buyers concerned about the USA warranty...CameraLand of NY has the K-5 on ebay for $1039. They are an Authorized Pentax USA dealer (I verified this on Pentax's website). This is the cheapest I've found for a model with USA warranty:
