Here in Singapore, black K5 is selling for $1475SGD, about $1200USD, that's including 7% GST. A silver K5 (yes, some shops still have it in stock) is selling for $1800SGD, about $1465USD, with 7% GST included.

Thanks Twitch. So expensive.. just for a body. My K10D is stuck on aperture priority (at least that's what it says when i twirl the wheel) but shutter speed is the only thing I can vary at this point. Even more difference in quality K10D to K-5?

Where to buy the K5 (body only) in EUROPE?

I found it on redcoon.com for 1050,- euro including vat (1500,- $).

I dont want to buy it from outside Europe, because i have to pay vat and shipping is much more expensive.

Warehouseexpress.co.uk has k5 body only at £899 = €1006

I've bought several things from them, including my Sigma 150-500mm, and have had very good experiences only. They ship to Denmark cheap.

I'm price tracking that particular shop myself - next time it makes a significant drop I'm going for it (if my bank account allows). You could watch their "bargain basement" section too - they recently had a k5 body with condition listed as "as new, packaging damaged" at £799. Sadly, we had a major car repair bill to pay that month, and before my finances recovered it was already gone...

I have ordred from Warehouseexpress. Their reputation seems to be fair/good and they are an autorized Pentax dealer, so i can get the camera fixed on the gurantee in Denmark without returning it to Warehouseexpress.

Pixmania has a very bad reputation for delivery and support to Denmark. And they want 1190 euro for the K-5, from Pixmania.dk. And i can't place an ordre at Pixmania.co.uk, they won't ship to Denmark.

For the next 1 hour there is an extra 9% discount, so it is only 855£

Hi everyone, i am one of the brave souls that went ahead with fumfie and i just received my k5 today. Some of the comments about the company is true, the overall price was not 1119 but close to 1200 due to "insurance" cost, but it was still cheaper than most if not all sellers of the k5. The sales rep that i talked to (they call you after about 30 mins of the online purchase to confirm the payment) was very nice. I simply rejected all their offers for accessories and he agreed without asking any questions. I got a k5 with a serial number starting 403. There were no stain issues and no shutter issues, just no issues at all, so far... i think fumfie is getting a bad rap around here, but i was very happy with the purchase process. Just my 2 cents in case anyone else is thinking about buying from them. Just remember that the total will be more than the stated price, but it is still cheaper than most from what i found.

Here in France :

- k5 only : 980€
- k5 +18-55 : 1080€

But this last days price vary everyday between 900€-1000€ for Body and 930€-1100€ for the kit.

After hearing all the negative feedbacks about the website, i was pretty worried while i waited for my camera. I think now, i wouldnt hestiant to use fumfie again for purchases. Youre right though, they need to put down the final price of the purchase before receiving the invoice in the email. But in regards to the service, i really didnt see any problem. Just my experience.
