$1580 for A* 200mm macro on ebay

A lot of dollars, but.....a lot of lens, not many around either.
If I was into "A" Series, I'd definitely want it.

Man I look on eBay all of the time and I didn't see it. I'm trying to figure out how I missed that one.

That's actually a pretty good price! FA*'s are >$3k.

I got a very fair price in 2006 on my demo (like new) FA* 200/4 Macro!! $3K.... Holy... Dang...

To be fair though, the A* is a better travel lens, no question. That's due to it being a bit smaller - 5.7" long vs. 7.6" (barrel only).
