I picked up a new K20D at Ultimate Electronics in Thornton for $400 today. Ultimate still sells Pentax, though their staff knows little about it, so if you are looking for a K20 this is a good deal.

According to a guy I spoke to at Ultimate Electronics, there are about a dozen K20d's left at the $399 sale price, but they are at different locations across the country. You'll have to call your local store to see if they still have one.

The guy also said the computer showed a 55-300 at the Denver store for over $400, which is not a bargain at all. He said it was the last lens showing in stock for Pentax. That means they are going to have a tough time selling the bodies with no lenses to offer new customers. This is probably why this original thread was started on 10/16, yet there are still some bodies left in stock.

Great deal. After reading the initial post, I called my nearest Ultimate Electronics store in Syracuse, NY to see if they had a K20D. It would've been worth the 4 hour ride but no luck.

Tried their website but no K20D. Finally, just decided to contact them via email, but no reply. Too bad for me but nice opportunity to other Pentax fans hoping to pick up a K20D at a steal price.
