I thought the same too but didn't want to say it of pure respect

Nonetheless, if it doesn't mean to be then so be it. I'm prepared for the worst hehe

The only thing that stinks is that his order was cancelled because of a po box for the address, NOT because they made a mistake. In doing their research, they then might find the rest of our orders and realize they did in fact make a mistake - which would suck. Hopefully it was buy.com that initiated the cancellation and the price change still isn't on antonline's radar.

Thank dcmsox2004 for that. Since he insisted on calling all these retailers to push them to get them shipped and forced them to look into it.

My order was just cancelled by UnbeatableSale. Message says they are out of stock and can't get any more. I am very disappointed. I have emailed and called them and Amazon. It will be interesting to see what if anything they are willing to do to resolve this.

My Amazon order doesn't show in my order history any more, so I can't even leave negative feedback. Hmph.

I once worked as a "picker" for a mail-order house. The system simply told us there was an order to be picked and shipped. Nothing about price, etc. Yes, we'd print a manifest or "receipt" and put it in the box, but we really did not look at the price or know the intrinsic worth of these items. All we knew was that we had something to ship. And we did ship. From time to time, there were price errors and shipments went out. Once they were out, the vendor lived with it.

Calling the front office in a situation like this is... well... let's just say that it increases the chances that the issue will be discovered.

I just checked stock by placing a camera in my cart at the UnbeatableSale site. It worked and is listed as being in stock. I am tempted to purchase it and if it ships get into a beef with them over the price. However it looks like they may be an aggregator like Amazon and Buy.com, and that price was probably not strictly theirs. I'd probably be stuck with it.

woof!

Yeah, I wouldn't risk it.

I guess I'll just wait another two years until the K7 drops to that price.

Not true. While it may not be possible to leave negative feedback via Amazon, there's always the BBB:

BBB Review of Unbeatable Sale.com in Lakewood, NJ

File a BBB Complaint

Not that it will matter...

OK this day is most certainly interesting...
I thought the buy.com order had been cancelled...
it wasn't only amazon..I had to call those *******s
and get them to call my bank to release the pending transaction
that they still had on my checking acct....

I can't even get $ out to pay ex wife...

I then look and buy.com is still pending..

I am pissed and call them as I know that they will just
cancel anyway,so I figure I wanna get my funds free

the lady from buy.com calls me back..

says the order is in the process of being transferred to the shipping dept
and I will get a tracker and shipping confirmation today.

I ask her if there's any chance that they will cancel my order at this point??
she says no ,,not at all..
and then asks me if I wanted to cancel the order,,,I shouted "hell no!"
ship it!!

she says ok sir we are doing that...

well ,,pour me a pint of piss,,,I just got beat down,,by the ex
for my loot,,,figured I'll be getting a k20d used if I could even afford that

and now this....jesus!! I'm going for another drink !! do ya suppose
maybe just maybe I'll actually get it?

The woman at the amazon customer service who felt my wrath,,,
said over and over that unbeatable had run out of stock...

shit who ,knows anymore..??
Have you considered taking a little lithium and calling it a day?

I am filing a BBB complaint on 'deceptive marketing practices' against Amazon and Unbeatable. At the very least Amazon should allow us to leave a negative feedback for Unbeatable!

You can certainly file a complaint, but there is a difference between deceptive marketing and a price mistake. This was the latter.
