It's neither good nor bad in the sense that it's been that price for over a year from BHphoto. Now whether it's a good price compared to other options (DA35/2.4, FA43, etc) depends on what's important to you.

Combined with the K10D rebate a few years ago, this lens would have been like $200 or $225. Hindsight

Didn't know it has been at that $ for a year. Oh well. I still think it's a good deal for a limited lens.

Where is the 35mm 180$? It's $219 at b&h right now... I am missing something?

That may be true, but the 40 is metal body/mount, distance scale (but no DOF indicators because of the small size), quick-shift focus, and is the smallest of the DA Limiteds.

Don't understand this, most of you are complaining that @ $360 or €250 it is too expensive? For an all aluminium auto focus pancake lens that more than a few of you have raved about of this very forum???
