Wrong forum, btw.

For that price, I think that even the ugly color would be worth it.

@Joe - I'm interested. Might snag one or two for family. What body armor are you referring to?

How long do you guys think the deal will last?

This here (just not sure if they have a kx version) -> Amazon.com: MADE Products CA-1127-BLK SLR Camera Armor for Pentax K10D Digital SLR (Black): Camera & Photo

Buddy of mine has it on his cannon, looks and feels pretty good...

(here is site, but the page for other models is throwing error -> http://www.cameraarmor.com/)

Deal just sounds too good to b true, we will see, guess worse case it will hold up my $190 for about a week...

I must say, that is one ugly camera. That would be perfect for my daughter for her birthday, but she'd hate me even though she really wants a dslr.

Yes, it did for me. I just checked it's status on their website, & so far everything looks OK. The real test will be tomorrow when it's supposed to be shipped out with a tracking number.

Ya, we will see. These guys have a retail store in NY, I have a contract in NJ right outside of NY so I travel there quite often - If they give me any issues (like backing out of the deal and causing issues on refunding the money), I will travel up and iron it out face to face.

I was thinking along the same lines. Not only do I live directly across the river from their Manhattan location (coming from the other side, though..... Greenpoint, Brooklyn), but their original store/warehouse is in my Borough, a couple of neighborhoods over, in Williamsburg.

It will be interesting to see what happens. I bought my K100DS from there and they are one of those outfits that calls you to "confirm" the order, then tries to upsell you all kinds of other junk *ahem* I mean useful items. When I received the shipment it included filters I declined to order and the kit price was $50 more than I was quoted on the phone.

When I called to complain I was told there was nothing they could do because that was the deal. I calmly explained that since this was not the deal the way I understood it, that I would be sending everything back, at which time they agreed to credit my credit card for the $50 plus the cost of the filter set. Good luck.
