I had to close that window fast. The mouse started to move by itself...

I'd seen that...it's on my watch list.
As is the case with many of these lenses....it is missing its original case, which forms an integral part of the package from a collectors point of view.....I predict this item will NOT sell at this price.
Cheers, Pickles.

I predict that it will sell but maybe not at this price, because of the condition of the lens itself. Just find an other lens with the needed accessories and you get it complete, that's what I've done.
BTW, this is the seller that sold the very first Takumar 15/3.5 I saw on ebay, more than two years ago....

I have the same but in K mount (the 1 of 100 aspherical version) and it is a difficult lens to use on digital. I'd love to have it in Takumar, but it's performance is just OK.

Why do you say that it's difficult to use on digital, smc?

I just got one today and after just a few pics, looks like it's a winner (gotta shade it from the sun, but the hand so far seems to suffice).

I keep an "eye" on these lenses....and there are some outrageous prices out there.
Do you mind saying what you paid for yours...is it K mount etc & what accessories did you receive......most don't appear to have the original Pentax case.
Regards, Pickles.

I don't usually reveal prices unless I am sure I am keeping it. It was a K-mount with bag and caps. Cap comes off very easily, this is the main trouble with the lens so far.

What I will try to do is a test between a bunch of ultra-wides I have. I am very curious how the Samyang 14/2.8 holds up against the 15/3.5. So far the 15/3.5 just produces pics like a quality normal lens, rather than the strange bland look of the ultrawides.
