Is this legit? Sigma 100-300/4 new for $664.99

Sounds pretty dodgy to me - ridiculous prices and no possibility to pay with a credit card...

Online store with no credit card payment option? Priceless...
Western Union, Moneygram, Wire Transfer only? That's gotta be a hint...

But why offer credit card payment for small-ticket items and not for big ones is my question?
And their About Us page is not very convincing: About Us : Wholesale Electronics

I'd avoid them. Not worth the risk IMO.

Very likely. I've heard of companies that after taking your money tell you that your item is not in stock and you can have something else for this price. Since you have no recourse to redraw, you don't have much choice.

On the other hand, if someone here is willing to take the risk, I'd be interested in hearing how it goes.

I dunno...they've got good taste in the favicon department

Then again everything else about the site screams "scam".

They identify themselves as "wholesale" which means they sell to distributors, not the public, so the "customer" reviews are suspicious.

It is based in China which explains much of the weird-sounding text.

And, it's based in China, so you take your chances.

...and K-5 listed at $750???

...raises a few eyebrows after we've been debating the merits of US sellers offering $1,100 prices!

Sounds like the old saying

"If it seems to good to be true, then It probably isn't"

I'd be even more sceptical because the Pentax version was not HSM.

How many of these do you want Dan ..... lol....

Ah! I still have the google alert for this lens, that's how I saw it. No, I am a happy camper and I think my LBA is cured!
