Pentax DA* 50-135mm price at $849 at Amazon and BHPhoto
Posted By: HenrikDK, 11-18-2011, 10:26 AM

That is a $100 drop! The 60-250 dropped recently as well to $1250.

Wonder if this is a Ricoh impact or something else going on? Great news indeed other than for our LBA!!!

Sounds like black friday marketing to me (by Pentax)!

Just ordered Pentax SMC DA* Series 50-135mm f/2.8 ED IF SDM for $849. Seems like a steal! Why is the price from Amazon so much lower than the price from everywhere else?

Because Amazon haven't yet implemented the new pricing policy- the new price for that lens is a whopping $1599 (in the US).

Pentax Lens Deals

So I bought the DA* 50-135mm for $849, and now I'm wondering if there are other great deals out there that are apt to change in the near future when Ricoh/Pentax implemenets a new pricing policy.

What are the best deals that might go away, and when will these changes happen?
