well as pristine as it gets....too bad the price is ridiculous

My copy is in the same condition, plus I have the correct lens pouch for it, the one in the ad is not the one for the F*300/4.5

If you keep your eyes open, you might find one like this pop up when you least expect it (and right after you bought a DA*300).

Yeah, it was a pretty nice lens, in excellent shape too. I ended preferring (and keeping) the DA*300 for the slightly faster aperture, weather seals, silent focusing, quick-shift focusing and more effective hood (although the F* slide out hood was pretty cool). IQ of both lenses was outstanding, so you couldn't go wrong picking either from an IQ perspective IMO. Plus, the F*300 in good condition typically sells for about the same price as a brand new DA*300 (sometimes more, as is the case with the original linked ad, though technically that one hasn't actually sold for that price yet, and very likely may not

).

Anyway, that went a little off topic, but just figured I'd share my thoughts on those two lenses, FWIW.
