I owned the manual focus vesion of theis and it was an excellent lens. I sold it after I bought the D FA100 WR I bought the D FA for it's WR and AF so I could use it for more of a short tele. I did not have the adapter which is supposed to make it 1:1. That's a great price for a new AF prime.

I used to have one that was branded differently (forgot what brand name,) has the adapter too. Although I enjoyed using it 1:2 normally, the adapter made it 1:1 w/o losing the sharpness too much, nice, just I wasn't much of a "Macro Man" at all :ugh:
