My eyesight problem is a slow progression. I probably will sell my 135 at some point but it is one of those things that I will put off as long as possible. Ditto with my LX body that I would never part with. Glad you spotted the post. Happy hunting.

Still waiting to see it with the original shade to help figure out if the sun shade that came with my copy is the original or not. But not this time either.

2/17/12 This lens just sold at $2,185 which is about the going rate on the last few I have tracked on fleabay. 9/11/11 $2125, 9/11/11 starting price of $1900, $2,250 and $2,118. I thought this would be good info for any future buyers looking for this great lens. I hope someone here got it.

I am ready to give up on it at this point. I think I can do what it does and more with my Voigtlander Macro 125/2.5

Maybe I shouldn't tell you what I payed for mine second hand in 1992 when everyone wanted autofocus...it may hurt to much to know

The lesson I guess is buy quality and it usually holds it's REAL value. Daniel's Voitlander 125 macro is no doubt even more money. than the Pentax 135 at least asking prices are for other mounts. $500 US ten years ago is easily $2,000 today. The lens didn't move much but the dollar did.
