Should anyone be interested in acquiring this fine lens, here's one on eBay:
Tamron SP 300mm F2.8 LD IF BBAR MC Adaptall Mount. Case. Filter. Excellent. | eBay It's missing the lens hood but the cosmetic condition is as good as I've seen. For one LBA induced moment of madness, I was tempted to place a bid for this lens last week for $499.00 (no action - relisted) to upgrade my optically pristine but cosmetically poor copy of this lens. Fortunately, my sanity returned in time - turned off the browser instead - to prevent me from placing a bid.
