I sorta figure that, but still - that's a ton of video... probably would be good for the K-01 though. I think the k-5 is limited to 2GB videos per take? 64 videos wow...

The one day sale is for $155? My charts show that to be the price it has been (about) since last month:

29minute is the limit you can record in one go but if you do that then you're doing something i think

Just film scenes of less then a minute or so is most of the time better and more intersting to watch at later.

I thought with the k-5 you could only record 2GB? The time would change based on format you're shooting in, but I didn't think it could exceed 2GB. I understand that the K-01 can though.

Now that's what I'm talkin' about!!! :ugh:
Not that I need, it but I'm sick and tired of swapping cards when I go out somewhere.

Now if only they can perfect beaming those images over to our machines(fast and conveniently) then we'd be one step closer to wasting time opening doors and flaps, fiddling with eject mechanisms and drives.

4GB is the max also for the k-01 because of the FAT32 formatt they use for the cards so not 2GB
For both there is also 29minute limit because if you can record 30minutes it's an offical video camera with higher VAT rating

Aren't SDXC cards formatted exFAT by default?

Yes and thats why you need to reformat them to FAT32 because the camera can't handle exFAT
