There's a Sigma 100-300 f/4 going on eBay UK: Sigma EX 100-300mm F4 APO IF in Pentax K Mount | eBay

It's up for £500 at the moment. If I had £500, I'd snap it up, but unfortunately I don't, so hopefully someone else can get a good deal on this ridiculously rare lens. Though I highly doubt it'll stay at £500.

I've not checked the pictures of the lens, but they say it's in very good condition, though they call it 'demanding'.

Someone can grab a deal? Perchaps?

I was watching this with vague interest (could not bid, since I'm not in the UK).

Sold for £576 (~$910 USD) to the original bidder... which is a "deal" if you compare to the outrageous prices being asked for these lenses here, but otherwise I'd say it's a fair price. They aren't really "ridiculously rare" like some Voigtlander or Zeiss lenses for Pentax, but Sigma isn't making any more of them and most people are holding onto them (if they are holding onto Pentax).

Personally, I'm expecting a Sigma 120-300mm f/2.8 one of these days...

Yeah I suppose there are Voigtlanders that are far more rare in comparison, and I'd say the price it went for is a good one. Not a huge deal, but pretty good considering how good the lens is and how rarely it comes up for auction.

And me too, I'm holding out (and saving up) for when teh 120-300 rears it's beautifully wallet destroying head.
