Looks like they just dropped the price of the K-5 down to $959!

You also could have got it from Teds for $999 + 9.95 shipping with Australian CR Kennedy backed warranty.

I went and did a price match request through Ted's and they came back with the exact setup, a price of $1250.00 with the 18-55 WR lens.Yes body only is $999.That's why I went with DWI instead of them.DWI price was $999 with the WR lens.

For AUD$1359, at the moment Digital Camera Warehouse have the K-5 'with 18-55mm WR Pentax Lens + BONUS Sigma EF530 Super Flash, Valued at $269! + [Genuine Pentax] Lithium Ion Battery, Valued at $115!'.

Not a bad bundle, especially compared to Ted's price.

The K5 has turned up.I've opened the box and it has a 18-55WR lens.But the amazing thing about it is that it was sent from Hong Kong on the 4th and it is in my hands tonight,the 6th.That is quicker then Aussie Post sending something from Sydney or Melbourne.

Tell me about it. Sometimes items arrive quicker from New York or Hong Kong than they do from Sydney. And often they arrive better packed too.

Ted's now have K-5 with DA 18-55mm lens for $999 AUS on special . Was going to buy body only but they want $999 for that alone. WR 18-55 kit still at $1399. This camera seems to be coming down in price quickly, so am I best off selling my K-X now while it still has good value, or wait until K-5 comes down further?

It would be nice to have a back up K5,especially at the prices they are at,if you have the $$ then it wouldn't be a bad option.
