That faster processor will be nice to have also (and the improved AF), assuming it feels just like the one in the K-01.

it was AFAIK body only, though the pentax store launched at 1699 with kit lens from looking back at old threads

not much chance of the replacement launching quite that high given all the D600 rumours

k-30 does not have HDMI and external mic
for more serious video production. people need these two feature.
I still prefer k-5 than k-30 for video

the lack of HDMI is more serious than the mic. If you are serious you record sound separately

Amazon now has the K-5 at $909 shipped (through Emmy Photo). Sub-$900 is around the corner, and sub-$700 used bodies will become more frequent, I think.
