$27,000... They're joking right? You could buy a 1DX and a 300mm f/2.8L for that price and have money for a K-5 and a DA* 300mm f/4 left over.

EDIT: Derp. Good luck buying a 1DX and a 300/2.8 for that price. You COULD get a K-5 and the DA* 300/4 though...

Haha, sorry. I was a tad shocked to see that :P I wasn't aware that Hong Kong used dollars as well.

Well, for that price then it seems like a bargain! Canon and Nikon's 300/2.8s are ridiculously expensive second hand.

Not really, price the pre image stabilized versions for canon and nikon and they sell much cheaper used. This lens is mostly tripod mounted so IS isn't overly helpfull. Never had SR on on mine as it was always on a tripod or bean bag.
