I have just purchased one for $1459.00 from Camera House but DCW and a few others have them at this price. You have to order it though I lucked out and got mine in two weeks, they only place an order when they have enough deposits I believe they said CR Kennedy (Australian Pentax importer) had ordered a few extra.

The lens is every thing I read it was and more.

It will take something special to beat my DA*300 but so far it's on a roll.

$1287 @ Digidirect, I hate Camerahouse, they are rip off merchants. Back in Nov 11, a guy at Camerahouse Kent st Sydney tried to sell me a used K5 for $2000! I laughed and walked out!
