Thinking of pulling the trigger on this deal. I like how the tamron stacked up to the Pentax and Sigma versions of this lens at its lower price.

The tamron's value proposition only goes up even more. Or you could think of it as $50 towards the shipping cost of returning 2 copies of the lens to fix BF/FF issues!
