Nice find! Looks like it's back down to $549 B&H also (but nowhere else). How these prices are determined is beyond me...

Several of the lenses over at B&H are back to where they were two weeks ago. There really is some strange yo-yo-ing going on.

These 20% jumps are indeed very strange. But I can't complain. For past week I was considering buying this lens, luckily I did not rush.

Good to see the price come down. I've had my eye on it for a while and it will likely be my next lens, once I can set aside enough cash for it. Last I had some spare it was some $650 which was a bit rich, but $550 realm may be okay for me to stretch to.

This price-wobbling only seems to affect the US? Here in Europe I can't find it any cheaper then €650,-, which is about $800,-!

I'd buy it from B&H in a under split second if I didn't get an extra bill for VAT and import duty.
