Shipping confirmation email received this morning...Sunday morning. I was not expecting that...

Can't wait to see what shooting over ISO 400 is like!

I will absolutely need a grip since the K-5 is smaller than the K10. My 10 has never left the house without the grip in 4.5 years

It actually hurt my hand and wrist to hold it due to the "hanging pinky" finger.

Too bad the darn thing is $200 and they're probably going to change it for the upcoming replacement later this year...

I felt the same way, then I realized that some folks buy them and don't like them. Took two purchases (one was DOA and should NEVER have been offered by the ...people.....that put it up for sale) but the used one I got was about 30% off from new and looks and operates as new. Its still more than the Chinese knock-offs but its WR like the camera (which the non-OEM models are NOT) so I have been very happy with it. The K-5 actually feels weird in my hands without it now

try the third party ones. They are still pretty good.
