one would think that a replacment for the K5 must be soon to follow. This is almost half price from where it started.....yet we hear very little

Even if a replacement is named soon, it will probably be 1500ish. The K5 is a great camera for that price.

I totally agree, I love my K5....I am mearly looking at a second body....if the replacement is up to par, and not over priced it would make a great primary body with my K5 as the back up.....
