Free shipping? Paypal protection? Yep, the 18-135 WR is now on the way to me. Of course it ended up being $343.64, but that's still waaaaay cheaper than anywhere here.

Well now... the lens section is interesting. Since Pentax lenses only come with a one year warranty anyway, it's not quite as likely you'd need the warranty during that time. Makes them a bit more tempting than the camera body from my standpoint.

So, does anyone know how much the lens prices fluctuate on the Pentax Singapore site? The reason I ask is I have been planning to get the K-30/18-135 kit because the deal is so good for that lens. However, since the price on the 18-135 is about the same from Pentax Singapore as it is in that kit, it might make more sense for me to go ahead and get the K-30 and wait and get the lens from Singapore when it's more comfortable for me financially. That is, if the price for the lens isn't going to shoot back up for some reason.

Those prices are very good. Even the 645D with the DFA50 is starting to look interesting. It's also interesting to note that only the black version of the K30 is available body-only, and the coloured bodies are only available bundled with the DA18-55AL, suggesting they're running these lenses out or aiming the coloured bodies at new DSLR buyers.

That aside, you shouldn't complain too loudly about paying taxes - look at what happened when the Greek people didn't!
