Does it mean we don't have to send it back to Singapore in rare case the lens doen't work properly within 6 month?
(get 6 months warranty in buyer's country?)

btw, which area are you located? did you get the extra bill from the FedEx driver, such as the brokerage fee and duty fee, etc?

Fedex just called me. I had to send them the FCC 740 form. No big deal but PITA.

btw, which area are you located?

I think the item will need to be sent back to SG for the warranty to work. I doubt my local Pentax distributor will honor it.

I'm located in Australia, and no there was no additional Fedex bill or brokerage fee. There never is here for items valued under AUD$1000, at least in my experience.

After seeing this deal, I kinda thought about it for a few days, then decided "what the heck" and ordered a K-30 on July 26. About 1PM CDT I received an email saying my order was "confirmed". Haven't heard anything since.

Kinda bummed after seeing loco's report of "out of stock" on the K-30s. 7-10 days - damn - I'm hoping to take it on a big trip that I leave on the 11th for. Fingers (and everything else!!) crossed!!
