Me too.

I hope this is not like the April Fool's Day FF 'joke' that is still listed under 'Top Pentax News' on the home page...

It is true, I received an email from Adorama stating that if I purchased either Lightroom, Photoshop Elements or Photoshop Elements with Premiere Elements I would get a code for $400 off CS6.

I got a standard snail mail from Adobe to get PhotoShop cs6 for $299. I'm going for it on the next pay day.

One of these have to be purchased before 8/25/12 to be eligible. The email said "if you have purchased one of the Adobe titles from us you are already eligible for the discount". It also said that it will email more info next week (my guess with the promo code)

Is this $400 off the current purchase or the next purchase? I also don't see the promotion mentioned. Is there a link for it somewhere?

Well, I've got LR3 and PS CS5 (standard). So is there an upgrade path here somehow? I definitely want LR4 but haven't gotten around to upgrading yet (was using the trial for a while), and am not dying for a PS upgrade but would think about CS6 at that price (I think my upgrade price is still like $550).

Have you even looked for the prices?

CS6 upgrade is $199
lightroom 4 upgrade is $79
So $278 in total at adobe website

Yeah, but wrong one apparently. I must have been looking at the suite -- showed $550. Guess I'm in no hurry then...

I thought CS stood for Creative Suite. According to Adobe the upgrade from CS5 to CS6 is $199.

Image editor software | Adobe Photoshop CS6

It does but it just means that anything "CS6" is part of that suite, not necessarily the entire suite, so CS6 Photoshop is just Photoshop.

I had a similar offer last week from Amazon, because I had bought Lightroom or elements. Mine was an additional 400 off. It was normally 699 on sale for 599 less the additional 400 = 199 for the full version of CS6. It is not the extended version which is mostly about the 3D stuff.

I could not believe it was real. I read it prob 15 times. Double checked part numbers with Adobe's website yep full version CS6.,.. All checked out so I jumped all over it. They shipped it out today and will be delivered on Monday. What a get chance to finally get into the full Photoshop. I felt like a kid at Christmas!!! Still excited about it.

Reading the ad it seems you have to buy other products to get the discount on CS6. Is that what it is? I like my deal better, I don't have to buy anything else to get CS6 for $299.
