Sold from Sunset Electronics through Buy.com and has free budget shipping. According to the page that I was taken to, there are 7 left at this price as of 7:10 PDT.

If anything, was just nice to see Pentax represented for once.

Pretty sure that's a scam site, they're not actually linking to Nextag for the rating emblem, same with the rest of them. And they don't accept PayPal, which means if you give them money, they'll probably just keep it.

Edit: Scratch that, there's one or two "Verification" websites that approve them. Just don't know what these sites are, as I've never seen them before.

I read the responses on reseller ratings for BBP and realized I'd rather not risk it.. Their responses are very X Y Z formulaic in how they deal with their customers if something goes wrong.. no thanks.

The buy.com deal, on the other hand, is rather very tempting. Interestingly Sunset Electronics also sells through Amazon but the Amazon current price for this is around 821 USD.

Mannnnnnn why did this have to be so low so soon.

edit: actually they are not an authorized Pentax retailer.. doubt one can buy the Pentax extended warranty as a result... and there is a 10 or 15% restocking fee..

i just got a K30 from Sunset. What they shipped me was a kit with the 18-55 and 55-300 with the 55-300 pulled (and obviously sold separately).

A little shady, if you ask me. I won't deal with them again
