Pretty tempting, but what kit is this? Just the 01 prime lens? I don't see any indications that it comes with a lens at all

Yeah! I kept looking at the post to see it say "refurbished" or something of the like but I'm pretty sure it's brand new. I think it's a great deal and thought to post it even though I have no need for one. Hopefully it makes someone really happy!

From the Groupon page: "Budding and advanced photographers can easily swap out the included lens for specialty ones (not included with this Groupon), such as zoom, fisheye, and Hubble lenses."

But that's the only mention of the lens on the Groupon site although Dealnews rpts that the offer includes the 47mm-equivalent prime. Buyer beware, I suppose.

If it were offered with the kit zoom I'd snap at it, even at a higher price. 47mm is a little long for my taste as a general purpose focal length, particularly indoors. YMMV, naturally.

Nice to know its on groupon and that over 120 people have bought already. I was wondering about the lens in the "kit" and I believe it is the 01 Prime because it does mention "Lens system for swapping in specialty Q lenses such as zoom and fisheye" as the 2nd item in the Features list.

People who buy thru groupon would probably prefer (and be expecting) a zoom kit.

It looks like it's just the standard prime kit- which is still good enough for $349, IMO!

Of course. I just bought one for $399 so someone has to come out with one that is $50 less expensive.

Ooh, where can I get the Hubble lens? Sounds like it might be really good for astrophotography.

Would I need to launch the camera into orbit?

If you've got a discover card - don't forget to go through their website, last time I checked if you use the shop discover link it is good for an additional 15% cashback, that would give you $52.50 in cash back! hmm....

The listing now says that it is indeed the standard prime kit.
