The announcements say 8/30, which is today, not 9/1 (which is Saturday).

Although it conflicts with what's on the special offers page you linked, the press release says:

The instant rebates on the purchase of a K-01 are being offered from September 1, 2012 through September 30, 2012 and range from $200 - $300 depending on the type of K-01 kit purchased. Customers who purchase the K-30 between September 1, 2012 and October 31, 2012 will receive a $50 instant rebate. Additionally, PENTAX is offering instant rebates ranging from $50 - $100 on a variety of DA and DA* lenses through December 31, 2012. For even greater savings, lens rebate amounts will double when combined with the purchase of any PENTAX K-mount DSLR or ILC.

Let's not sweat it too much, though, as Pentax's web site is notorious for being full of typos. As of right now, though, retailers aren't showing these new prices. They normally go live when they "feed" their web sites, which typically occurs hours before the deals are to go live (late on Friday in this case).

Just got confirmation from B&H that they will be posting the new prices tomorrow, not Saturday (as they're closed then).

They've changed their story- it's back to Saturday now, which is ironic, considering that nobody is able to order anything from them then.

They e-mailed me a link where all of the rebates will become visible tomorrow. Ironically, they left the K-01 out of this page, but it's still going to be getting rebates:

The current rebates on K-30 are for a separate promotion. Click on the link and it will offer you a $30 rebate for buying a Manfrotto LED light with a DSLR. I'm guessing they will all be updated at the same time tomorrow.

Somehow I was hoping it wouldn't happen, but it did -

I've been watching the DA*55 lens, and Adorama just posted it with the new rebate.

Before the rebate offering, the lens was listed at $649.99 (up until 11:00pm August 31) - I thought that if the $75 instant rebate would apply to that price, I would probably buy it.

Now.....the lens is listed at $799.95 less the $75.00 instant rebate for a net of $724.95

That does it for me with Adorama - hopefully B&H will not do the same - will see in morning I guess.
