Yes, he has listed it several times before. He wants $1500 US, and if bidding doens't get that high, he pulls the auction.

He's not great at answering emails either....

Warning: Note the broken off sight on the lens close to the camera mount.

I have one. It's a serious optic--not just a curiosity. It's physically very long (almost 3') and it requires quake-proof stabilization--also slow so it requires good light. Green/magenta CA's are an issue--especially if you can't stop down at least to f16.

Good eye, Phil! At that length, the gun sight is very helpful: I'd hate to be without it.

I think USD $1K would be a more reasonable price (if it weren't for that defect.)

Yeah if the sight is broken off who knows what else is wrong with the lens. It may have taken a wack!

Off topic, but have you tried the updated PF removal sliders in Lightroom 4.1? My K 300/4 was off the scales with purple and green fringing, but LR 4 makes it a snap to clean them up. It's like using a whole new lens now.

Thanks for the suggestion but LR & I are just incompatible (I think I'm too old ;~) I'm hoping that functionality will show up in PS Elements some day.
