I think the biggest problem I have always had with the A star primes (my dream lenses) is that there is nothing they can do that is worth the extra money. I don't really see it in the image quality compared to other glass that is 25% of the price (or less), and that tiny bit of extra speed gives you such a thin depth of field that its only useful for specialty purposes.
They always cost a fortune, even way back when. I would still love to find an A20 2.8, well worth the $400 (edited price) or more they go for when they even come up considering its the widest manual focus A lens before prices get really cracked.
I have no idea what some of the stuff on this list even is, I forget which board member I have to thank for this ad.
