Yeah, I don't follow the prices on this particular lens too closely, but from what I recall this is a decent price, and from KEH a rating of LN- usually means it is in about the best condition you will find.

Hope someone who is looking for one can grab it!

Seems to be a lot of high end glass coming for sale ,Glad i am only looking a A lens or i would buy it . Not the cheapest i have seen over the last year seems fair for the condition .

really? This lens is stellar, not "macro sharp" if you are into just sharp. The colour rendering, the contrast, the softness at f2.0.. just wonderful. If you don't get this lens,
don't get this lens.

with no match in the current Pentax line up, desperate people will get one.
if there will be no fullframe announcement soon, I suggest we will see a DA* 2/24 announced before christmas.

Sounds like people need an evaluation before they buy this one, based on this discussion and others I have seen about it. They need 24mm f2 evaluators like those that go out to see if people are fit for adoption

The FA* 24 is still there, plus I see an FA* 85 1.4 on the list now - $1120

Pure speculation, but perhaps people unloading their high end FF lenses after hearing no FF DSLR from Pentax after Photokina. Although, if Pentax does release a FF, one would hope the production of these FF classics will start back up.

I bought some of these nice glasses during the last weeks, the former owners change to a yellow logo brand product right now.
