Sandy, my wife has just seen the DA* 60-250 F4 I bought from you. When I showed her this thread she said "No!" I'm not sure why.

It'd cost you another few hundred customs & gst on that 60-250. to land it in Oz. since its over the 1 grand limit.
The 50-135 is tempting though.

Depends on what you already have! I would personally get the DA 15mm if you already have the DA*'s.

I AM considering that 15mm... I don't have any DA*s though... Just a 18-135WR and an M50/1.7.

FYI I am trying to get Adorama to also post a deal on the FA ltd's, but chances are slim that this will happen. Stay tuned on Monday!

I'm the one who recommended a lot of these price drops- so if they're smart, they'll drop the FA prices also to get them moving. The other deals are great too, though!

And we of your forum community soundly salute you! Getting the big 2 to include us Pentaxians in Deal Friday was a marvelous piece of work!

The other deals *are* great, there's no doubt about it. For my part, I've been not-buying that FA77 for years now, justifying it by saying I can get 2 other really excellent lenses for the same price, or saying the FA43 I was glued to was almost as awesome....and it's like when I purchased the the Sig10-20 then sold it for the DA14, and then sold that for the DA12-24....all because I was loathe to spend the $ on the DA15 when it was slower or less versatile or whatever....but I was never satisfied till I got that durn DA15 and then I barely took it off my camera for a year because it really was that good... Well, this is THAT situation :P

It's FA77 or bust!

I agree and want to thank you also Adam! I know these Black Friday deals didn't happen by themselves. I could kind of tell by your postings that you didn't get much sleep last night.....

I'm sure it took quite a coordinated effort to make this happen - you did a fine job along with our trusted vendors!

I'm happy that you guys are happy! I've been in touch daily with BH and Adorama over the course of the past week, but the real person to thank is whoever at Pentax usa approved the lifting of MAP this weekend!
