That's tempting, especially for anyone who doesn't have a K5. I'd pay $799 today for a new K-5ii to be delivered anytime before 12/1/2013, but probably not $748 for an original K-5 delivered by 12/1/2012. Of course that might turn out to be a good deal, or not, but I'd risk it. Maybe B&H or Adorama will see this and take me up on the offer.

To qualify for the upgrade, and for PF to get credit for the sale, you need to go to the vendor through the link on this page beforehand:

Guess I get cheated out of the upgrade as I went from the add at the top of the page advertising the sale.Had pretty much decided to keep the K-X and sell the K-10 when I upgraded but had the K-x out for an outing and let it go with the 18-55 and 50-200 for $400,family deal so I don't mind if it went too cheap,had 11,000 shots.Going to look for a good deal on a used 50-200 wr maybe even a used one when money comes handy.

I stand corrected......I just hovered over the links in the first post of the thread, and since Adam posted it (the administrator of the forum), he did in fact have the proper information in the link for PF to get the credit and for you to get the free upgrade. Sorry that I misled you on my former post!

According to the instructions in the other link I posted, if everything went through properly you should get your upgrade automatically. If not after a couple days, I would send Adam (the OP) a PM about it.
