If you mean ShopNBC then the card that comes in the box did not work in my Q. I use SanDisk Extreme IIIs and they work like a charm.

No, but it did work elsewhere. Not sure why but I am not the only one to report that it was a dud in the Q. Sorry. The 16gb SanDisks are pretty inexpensive these days and have worked flawlessly and are faster than the write ability of both the Q and K-5.

I can tell you that the card I received with my Q from ShopNBC is working great inside my Q and also records video from the Q without a problem.

If you're looking for a cheap SD card , Targets having a sale on SanDisk 8gb class 10 for $9.99 and 32gb cards are like $24.99...just a heads up if you've received a dud Or just simply want to add to your collection...BTW, how long was the whole process starting from checkout to receiving the Q in your hands? It's supposed to be delivered by the 21st, yet it's still processing....I ordered it Monday :/

Took them 5 days from order to getting it into the mail then 2 days to get to me.

This is an "authorized" dealer for Pentax? Is there any concern that the warranty (whether original or extended) would be honored?

Mine, shipped from Nashville TN 3 day select, was supposed to be delivered tomorrow, the 21st, but shopnbc did not get it to UPS for another 20 hours after they shipped (printed the label) UPS updated the delivery day to Monday the 24th.

BTW " Due to holiday volume, UPS Ground delivery guarantees are suspended until December 26, 2012. All other guaranteed UPS Services will be delivered within 90 minutes of the normal commit time."

thanks for the clarification! this is very tempting... I would spring for it if I didn't already have my Canon S95 that I'm quite happy with as my small pocketable camera alternative to my SLR. Plus I'm probably going to spring for the K-01 as my second Pentax camera... but it's a killer deal for anyone who wants to get into the Q system...

Just ordered the Q baby.via NBC....just must wait til Jan 6th to get it so now to find some adapters for OM lenses..any good places to look,prefer Europe as easier with customs..

Just got the Q today.

3 items are missing so I recommend everyone carefully check your items in the box once you receive it.

1. Additional 2-year warranty card. (Heck! this is the most thing I want from this deal.)
2. 8GB SD card. (Second heck!)
3. Lightning PDF converter CD-ROM. (Fine! I don't want it)

Just e-mailed them. Let's see what they will answer or fix this problem.
Anybody else is missing some things you supposed to get?
